Drupal for Legal Aid Websites (DLAW) was created specifically for legal aid organizations. Selected features include:

- Ability to create web forms for data collection.
- Use of a graphical (WYSIWYG) editor.

- Ability to enable organic groups of users to self-organize and share content and resources.*
- Scheduling of news and other content to appear at selected times.
- Templates comply with Section 508 Accessibility guidelines.
- Ability to create an office directory.
- Access to a selection of vetted contributed modules.
